Ingredients
2 cups of water
2 cinnamon sticks (Ceylon cinnamon is preferred for its sweeter taste and lower coumarin content)
1 tsp honey (optional, for sweetness)
1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for zest and vitamin C boost)
Directions
- Boil the Water:
Pour 2 cups of water into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium heat. - Add Cinnamon Sticks:
Once the water boils, add the cinnamon sticks and reduce the heat to low. - Simmer:

Remove from heat, take out the cinnamon sticks, and strain the tea into cups. - Optional Add-ins:
Stir in honey and/or lemon juice to enhance the taste and health benefits.
Notes
- Enjoy hot as a morning or evening wellness tea. You can also let it cool, refrigerate, and serve it over ice for a refreshing iced cinnamon tea.
